Founder, Owner, Certified Dog Behavioral Consultant
Leslie Csokasy, CDBC, CPDT-KA
25+ years of experience and founder of Great Dog, Leslie is a certified dog behavioral consultant with the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants and a Certified Dog Trainer through the Council of Certified Professional Dog Trainers. She is a member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers International and the Pet Professional Guild. Leslie specializes in dogs with separation anxiety, working breeds, reactive dogs and pups with impulsivity issues.
Leslie is a veteran of the greyhound adoption community and serves on the Board of Directors of the National Greyhound Association. She enjoys lure coursing, agility and Rally Obedience with her greyhounds.
Owner, Director of Canine Education
Judi Anderson-Wright, MA, CPDT-KA
20+ years of experience and co-owner of Great Dog. Judi has spearheaded the Canine Education department for two decades. She has a Masters of Special Education from the University of Northern Colorado, and is a certified professional dog trainer through the Council of Professional Dog Trainers. A member of the Pet Professional Guild and a Canine Good Citizen Evaluator through the AKC. Judi specializes in dogs with fear, low resiliency and separation anxiety issues. Having grown up with a variety of terriers, Judi is our terrier expert and teaches a Terriers Need Tactics class. Her current canine companion is a rowdy JRT named Tater Tot. She also mentors our team of budding dog training enthusiasts, helping aspiring dog trainers gain certification.
Certified Professional Dog Trainer
Deborah Gabbert, MS, CPDT-KA
Besides being a successful dog walking entrepreneur (Rex-Treks), Deborah is a regular instructor at Great Dog, teaching classes and private lessons with us since 2015. She a graduate of Great Dog’s Canine Educator preparatory curriculum, a lead instructor for our Reactive to Reliable class series and currently helps dogs and handlers develop their teamwork and life skills through games-based learning in our Beyond Basic, Recall Rodeo and Walking in Total Harmony classes. Deborah holds a Knowledge Assessed certification with the Council of Certified Professional Dog Trainers and an Absolute Dogs ProDogTrainer certification in games-based training. She holds Bachelors and Masters degrees in Communication and memberships with the Association of Professional Dog Trainers International (APDT) and the Pet Professional Guild (PPG). Deborah’s side-kick Macy is the heart of her inspiration and can usually be found helping her mentor dogs and teach Great Dog classes.

Susan Shearer
Susan is the OG Great Dog Instructor! Susan has been teaching classes with Great Dog clients since our inception! Experienced in puppy, basic classes, Susan is a lead instructor for our Reactive to Refined class as well as a titled handler in Rally and Agility.

Susan has accomplished various workshops with leading instructors and is well versed in all things dog!

Emily Wolf
Puppies get a jump on their best manners and socialization with Emily's puppy classes! Emily is a Canine Instructor and Great Dog lead, working full time with dogs of all ages and sizes for several years. Emily has attended various workshops including with Dr. Ian Dunbar and is sitting for her CPDT-KA exam this spring! She lives with her dog Bojangles and is instrumental to Great Dog's success!

Jamie Kirk
Jamie is a Canine Instructor for Great Dog and also a lead within our daycare pack community. She teaches a variety of classes including the ever popular Noseworks! Jamie handles many private lessons and low-resilience clients.

Ethan Lee
Ethan has also a graduate of our Canine Educator Prep Course work and is a skilled private lesson and class instructor. Ethan's enthusiasm for dogs shines when working with our Basic Manners and skills canine clients. Ethan also is one of our Reactive to Refined instructors, working safely with many dogs whose behavior challenges are rooted in fear and anxiety. Ethan is sitting for his CPDT-KA exam this spring!

Isabela Escobeda, AAB-UW
Isabela is a recent graduate of the University of Washington Applied Animal Behavior program, where she studied under the esteemed Drs. Ha. Isabela has been working at Great Dog for several years while she attended her undergraduate studies and has snuggled with some of the best pups. She teaches private lessons, assists with classes, and has completed her Canine Educator Prep Course curriculum.
Business Administration & Instructor
Breanna Dyess
Breanna wears many hats at Great Dog. She is a senior staff lead and helps us stay on top of our administrative enrollment for all our canine education clients. Breanna develops Great Dog's training and enrichment calendar. On top of that busy job, she is an enrichment lead and is versed in our low-resilience program. Breanna assists in classes as well as teaches some of our Sir Barks Alot workshops.
